David Kofi is a London-based artist, influenced by Gospel, Jazz, RnB & Neo-Soul. David’s release titled Kokoro, a Japanese word connecting Heart, Mind and Soul, describes the principle that guides his creativity and music. David aims to connect with the listener by pouring himself into his music. His love for music started when he was introduced to Gospel at age 13, although he began piano training at age 8.

In 2014, David released his debut EP Galaxy, comprising of five jazz instrumentals and a gospel song, “I’ll Follow You”, featuring Ethel Baffoe.

In 2016, following the release of Galaxy, David was nominated for the best jazz/blues act at the Unsigned Music Awards in Troxy, London.

In 2021 David released a 2 track jazz EP Kokoro which featured track 1 Tsuro & James Mollison (Ezra Collective) on track 2 Shinko.
